COLLECTOR
Self-paced online training includes 10 instructional modules plus the required mock-collection component.
Students complete the online qualification-training curriculum and final assessment, followed by five consecutive error-free mock collections. Mock collections are monitored and evaluated in person or through real-time observation and interaction with a qualified instructor.
Qualification documentation is issued only after the student successfully completes the required training, assessment and five error-free mock collections.
DOT urine collector refresher training is required at least every five years.

Mock-Collection Supplies Included
On-site training mock supplies include DOT split-specimen practice kits, five practice Federal Custody and Control Forms, disposable gloves, pens, and simulated specimen liquid. Students completing live virtual evaluation also need a reliable internet connection and camera.
