Enrollment Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a valid Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP) — required before beginning ELDT behind-the-wheel training
- Must have a valid DOT Medical Card (DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate)
- Must pass a DOT drug test before participating in class
A high school diploma or GED is not required. Opportunities are open for discussion based on the student's goals, readiness, and program fit.

Online self-paced training is available at any time. Students may begin immediately and work through the course on their own schedule.
DOT Collector students choosing self-paced training must still schedule and successfully complete the required proficiency demonstration and five consecutive error-free mock collections before receiving qualification documentation.
Freight Dispatcher students are not required to attend the DOT Collector proficiency and mock-collection session.
Virtual class times and attendance instructions will be provided to registered students after enrollment.
